A Really Cute Thanksgiving Program !

So every year at Mallory's preschool, they either choose to do a thanksgiving program or a Christmas one. This year again they choose thanksgiving. This is Mallory's 3 year to be in a program there and each year she has come more out of her shell. This year she sang all the songs loudly and with excitement! It was so much fun to watch her! My mom aka Nana, my dad, aka Pops, and Daddy all came with me to watch! Oh and we can't forget baby sister Mary Claire was there too, but slept almost the entire time!  Daddy even filmed it for his family to see.

A lot of the songs were the same from last year but they also added some new ones too. My favorite new was Give Thanks with a grateful heart. After the program they have their class Thanksgiving party and then we go home. Here are some pictures from the occasion!

Thanksgiving 2012 better late than never right?

This year for thanksgiving we had it at our house! My parents and sisters family came along with my uncle bob and aunt Ceil and my grandfather Bobby. We also invited to other special people , an old neighbor ,Mrs. Betty Fry ,and Gary Gordon a church friend who has no family here.

We had way to much food to eat as usual and lots of fun watching the kids run around outside!
The day after thanksgiving we went to visit John's family in Jackson at his sisters house.

This year at Mallory's school they had a Thanksgiving program in place of a Christmas one. It was very cute! They sang songs like "I'm glad I'm not turkey", "I'm a little acorn round" and "ten little Indians"
I got to hear the songs several weeks in advance in the car! It was to cute!

Here are some pictures from Mallory's school program and the holidays. Enjoy!

Up next Christmas in Colorado!

Thanksgiving 2011

This year, since my parents were in another country and the stores were only closed 1day for Thanksgiving, we could not make the 4 hour drive to Alabama. We were fortunate enough that John's family was willing to meet us in Jackson at John's sister's apartment for Thanksgiving. Nanny also made the trip down with John's parents, which made the trip extra special! It was fun getting to spend the day with them and Mallory loved getting to watch Aunt KK's cat run around the apartment. She also had fun playing Tea, playing baby dolls with Nanny, and hide and go seek with Granna! Looking forward to spending a few days over Christmas with John's family!

Here are some pictures from our fun day!
